On June 28, 2024, State Police of Queensbury arrested Jennifer M. Thul, 50, of Chester, NY, for Assault in the first degree, a class "B" felony.

On June 28, 2024, at about 6:56 p.m., Troopers responded to a home in North Creek (Chester), NY, for the report of a dispute. The investigation determined Thul and the victim were reportedly in a verbal dispute. During the altercation Thul allegedly struck the victim with her vehicle. The victim then left the property in their own vehicle and Thul contacting 911.

The victim was later located at the Glens Falls Hospital with serious injuries. They were transferred to Albany Medical Center via medflight, where they remain in critical but stable condition.

Thul was arrested and processed at SP Queensbury. She was arraigned at the Warren County Centralized Arraignment Part Court and remanded to the Warren County Correctional Facility in lieu of $10,000 cash, $20,000 bond, or a $40,000 partially secured bond.
