Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 10047 Westpark Drive

July 3, 2024- Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a woman found at 10047 Westpark Drive about 8 p.m. on Tuesday (July 2).

The identity of the victim, 25, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives D. Davis and C. Davidson reported:

Officers were dispatched to a home invasion call at an apartment at the above address and found a female unresponsive inside one of the units. She had suffered gunshot wounds and was pronounced deceased.

At this time, there is no known motive in the shooting.
