Investigation into Fatal Stabbing at 2009 Colquitt Street

July 3, 2024- Houston police are investigating the fatal stabbing of a man found at 2009 Colquitt Street about 7:35 p.m. on Tuesday (July 2).

The identity of the victim, 71, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant W. Dunn and Detectives L. Brooks and K. Stringer reported:

Officers were dispatched to a person found deceased call at the apartment complex at the above address and observed the male victim inside an apartment. He had suffered apparent multiple stab wounds and was pronounced deceased by paramedics.

There is no motive or suspect description at this time.
