NOTICE OF WATER RIGHT APPLICATION

LAS 35157

Pursuant to AS 46.15.133 and 11 AAC 93.080, notice is hereby given that Burris Ranch, LLC, P.O. Box 876381, Wasilla, Alaska 99687 applied for a permit to appropriate water on May 6, 2024 (Priority Date). The application proposes the following:

The withdrawal of up to 1,000 gallons per day (gpd) from January 1 through December 31 each year for domestic use, 6,500 gpd from May 1 through September 30, for non-domestic irrigation and 1,000 gpd for livestock from January 1 through December 31, from a yet to be drilled well located within the Tract B, Samilar Tracts, according to Plat No. 2009-47, Palmer Recording District, Section 23, Township 15 North, Range 5 West, Seward Meridian.

The proposed place of use is the same as above.

Per AS 46.15.133 (a), within 15 days of publication or service of notice, persons may file with the director written objections. Comments or objections must be made in writing to the above-listed address or to [email protected] by 5:00 p.m. on the last day of the fifteen (15) day public comment period. Pursuant to 11 AAC 93.080 (6), "The public comment period set by AS 46.15.133 (c) begins the first day of the posting, or upon receipt of the notice as evidenced by the certified mail receipt, date stamp, or other evidence of actual service."
