RPM’s Support for Urban Farming Partnership

For the past 12 years, RPM has supported the RID-ALL Green Partnership in Cleveland, Ohio. Through this collaborative effort, a deserted piece of land has been transformed into a thriving urban farm that benefits the surrounding community. Today, RID-ALL is an 18-acre urban farm that grows produce to bring healthy, local food to area institutions and provides youth education on the benefits of becoming good stewards of the earth. The partnership's vast initiatives include training, composting, aquaponics and fish farming, a community kitchen, veterans' programs and an urban tree nursery.

RPM assists with administrative duties, including mailings, product donations and phone calls. Last year, RPM sponsored a Juneteenth event at the farm and each year, RPM donates tickets to a Cleveland Guardians baseball game to the RID-ALL staff to celebrate their work.

Randy McShepard, RPM Vice President - Public Affairs & Chief Talent Officer, is a co-founder of the RID-ALL Partnership and serves on the organization's board of directors.
