Towns of Coxsackie and Athens - 2024 Capital Improvement Project

Negative Declaration

Greene County - The Coxsackie-Athens Central School District (CSD), as lead agency, has determined that the proposed 2024 Capital Improvement Project will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves improvements to existing facilities at the Coxsackie-Athens CSD High/Middle/Elementary School property as well as at Edward J. Arthur Elementary School. Improvements at the High/Middle/Elementary School Property include: widening of an existing footpath; playground improvements; resurfacing of existing parking lot; reconfiguring an existing athletic field area with natural grass fields including spectator seating, and related support facilities; and expansion of existing stormwater treatment basin, building renovations, sitework, and other improvements.
Improvements at Edward J. Arthur Elementary School include: replacement of an existing playground structure, replacement of two existing basketball hoops, and other building and site improvements. The project is located in the Towns of Coxsackie and Athens, New York.
