Countywide Community Revitalization Team To Hold Public Meeting October 8

The Office of Community Revitalization (OCR) invites you to the upcoming Countywide Community Revitalization Team (CCRT) meeting on Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at 10 a.m. The meeting will be held in person at the Vista Center Hearing Room 1E-60, 2300 N Jog Rd., West Palm Beach, and can be accessed virtually or via conference call if needed.

This month's meeting features guest speaker Susan Foley, Project Specialist, with the Palm Beach County Behavioral Health Coalition (PBCBHC).

The Palm Beach County Behavioral Health Coalition, dedicated to fostering a healthier, drug-free community, was created to equip parents, youth, and neighborhoods with the necessary tools for community wellness.

The PBCBHC goal is to stop the start of any substance use for people - especially teens as today's substances harm growing brains and bodies and can impact lives.

During the presentation, you will have the opportunity to learn about various initiatives to help teens and our community live healthier lives; from mental health advocacy to substance use prevention training, environmental scans, Youth Summits, media contests, and alternative activities for youth. The PBCBHC aims to build healthier communities.

This public meeting provides an excellent opportunity for residents to network with county agencies, OCR partners, and other community leaders who positively impact Palm Beach County. Join us to strengthen our community and celebrate the contributions of impactful individuals.
