City of Batavia Cooling Center Open

The City of Batavia has established a Temporary Cooling Center Operation that will be open for the benefit of the elderly, families with small children, and other vulnerable residents. The Cooling Center is at Batavia City Hall, 100 N. Island Ave. While the Center will be open 24 hours a day, sleeping accommodations, dedicated hygiene or washing facilities, or refrigerators for food storage are not available. When you arrive at the center, please check in at the front desk of the Batavia Police Department.
