Office of Homeless Services Activates Cool Rides, Bus Passes and Encampment Support During Extreme Heat

Who: Office of Homeless Services

What: The Office of Homeless Services will offer FREE cool rides, bus passes, and encampment support to those experiencing homelessness during extreme heat.

When: August 26, 27, 28, 29, and 30

Where: Along with bus passes, we are also deploying on-call rides to cool locations.

Request Rides between 12:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. by calling 615-844-3399.

The shuttle will pick requestee up and take them to the Nashville Rescue Mission or other cool locations during extreme heat. Return to the original locations are available as well.

OHS Outreach workers are distributing bus passes and other supportive services.
