Detectives Investigating Sunday's Double-Fatal Shooting at Hartman Park

Homicide detectives are pursuing leads in Sunday's 1 a.m. double fatal shooting that occurred during a gathering at Hartman Park, 2801 Tucker Road.

Officers responded and found Dominque Miller, 21, lying in a parking lot with multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to Skyline Medical Center where he died. A short time later, officers were notified that a second gunshot victim, Jamontez Johnson, 26, had been taken by private vehicle to Vanderbilt Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased. The motive for the shooting remains under investigation.

A third male shooting victim, age 21, came forward later to report he had also been shot at the park. He sustained non-life threatening injuries.
