Speedway, Indiana (August 8, 2024)………Daison Pursley has surged back into the lead in the battle for the USAC National ProSource Passing Master title as the calendar flips to the month of August.

The Locust Grove, Okla. native has passed more cars in USAC national competition throughout 2024 than any other driver to date with a total of 147 positions gained across the three divisions: Silver Crown, AMSOIL National Sprint Car and NOS Energy Drink National Midget.

Just behind Pursley in the standings are Logan Seavey (139), Robert Ballou (126), C.J. Leary (109) and Kyle Cummins (105).

ProSource, of Grand Saline, Texas, has posted a $2,500 year-end reward to the USAC nationally licensed driver who passes the most total cars during feature events throughout USAC's 2024 national season.

The bonus payday awaits the driver who advances the most positions combined between USAC's Silver Crown, AMSOIL National Sprint Car and NOS Energy Drink National Midget divisions.

The 2024 season marks the fifth year of ProSource's USAC National Passing Master championship. Chris Windom captured the inaugural edition in 2020. Justin Grant claimed the honor in both 2021 and 2022 while Daison Pursley took the title in 2023.
