33rd Annual Race Unity Rally - Sunday, September 8, 2024

The CommUNITY Diversity Group will hold its 33rd Annual Race Unity Day Rally on Sunday, September 8, 2024 beginning at 3:00 p.m. in the Village Hall Auditorium. This day has been proclaimed as "Race Unity Day" by the Village of La Grange. The annual event is intended to bring the community together to recognize its diversity and to celebrate the Village's rich history and contributions made by all of its residents.

The CommUNITY Diversity Group also invites the community to participate in the 2024 Summer Read "Between the Listening and the Telling" by Mark Yaconelli. Virtual and in-person book discussions are scheduled throughout September. The meeting schedule and additional information about the 2024 Summer Read can be found here.

Additional Diversity Days events include the screening and discussion of the movie "Origin" at the La Grange Public Library on Saturday, October 5, from 1:00 - 4:30 p.m. Further information about the 2024 Diversity Days in La Grange can be found here.
