On Thursday, November 21, SC4 is hosting two free concerts featuring the band Taylor Tucky. This event is a part of the Free Noon and Night Concert Series, which celebrates a variety of traditions and cultures through music and the arts. Performances are November 21 at noon and 7 p.m. in the SC4 Fine Arts Theatre.
"SC4 is pleased to welcome Taylor Tucky for the Noon and Night Community Concert Series," said SC4 Community Arts Liaison Mindy Charron. "Taylor Tucky is an American four-member country music band formed in Taylor, Michigan. Their music is country with rock instrumentation, melodic pop melodies and memorable hooks that will please all audiences."
Taylor Tucky was rated as the number one country cover band in Michigan and has opened for many national acts, including Kane Brown, Brother's Osborne, Thompson's Square, Tyler Farr, Old Dominion and more. The band consists of Perry Joe Zaremba (lead vocals), Chris Wietzke (vocals /acoustic and electric guitar/keys/mandolin/banjo), Lonnell Lewis (drums, programming), David Connors (bass guitar, vocals), and Marc Davis (Lead guitar).
They released their first full-length album, "Where There's Smoke," which includes the hit songs "Where There's Smoke," "I Bleed Country," "Old Bar Stool," "Local Tour Guide," "Gettin Warmed Up," and five others including a cover of Heart's "Straight on to You."
