Tupper Lake male arrested for assault 3rd

On October 7, 2024, State Police members arrested Richard G. Martin, age 63, of Tupper Lake, NY, for assault 3rd and trespassing.

On October 7, 2024, at approximately 10:04 a.m., Troopers responded to Lincoln Drive in the town of Tupper Lake for an assault complaint. An investigation determined Martin and the victim were involved in a verbal argument, which led to physical when Martin struck the victim in the face and restrained the victim with a shoulder that just had surgery completed. The victim was transported to Adirondack Medical Center in Saranac Lake for the injuries to the left shoulder.

Martin was arrested and transported to SP Tupper Lake, where he was released on an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Tupper Lake Court for a later date in October.
