State Police arrest a Clyde man after a collision on Whiskey Hill...

On October 6, 2024, at approximately 10:31 a.m., while in the area of Clyde-Marengo Road and Turnpike Road in the town of Galen, troopers from SP Lyons were responding to a physical disturbance when they encountered the suspect from the complaint. The suspect, Nathan K. Isaacson, age 34, of Clyde, NY, was operating a 2016 Chevy westbound. Troopers attempted to conduct a traffic stop, at which time Isaacson failed to comply, and a pursuit was briefly initiated. Isaacson reached high rates of speed, and troopers terminated the pursuit due to safety concerns.

At approximately 10:36 p.m., Isaacson was traveling south on Whiskey Hill Road in the town of Waterloo at a high rate of speed, failed to stop for the stop sign at the intersection of Whiskey Hill Road and State Route 96, causing a 2013 Nissan, operated by Cindy M. Bourne, age 63, of Geneva, NY, that was traveling east on State Route 96 to make contact with Isaacson in the intersection. Subsequent to the collision, Isasscson was found to be in possession of contraband. Isaacson was transported to Strong Memorial for minor injuries and was released. EMS checked over Bourne and requested no further treatment, with no injuries.

Isaacson was charged with Unlawful Fleeing a Police Officer in a Motor Vehicle 3rd (A Misdemeanor), Obstruction of Governmental Adminstration 2nd (A Misdemeanor), two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance Seventh Degree (A Misdemeanor), Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia (A Misdemeanor), Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 2nd (Unclassified Misdemeanor), Possession of a Controlled Substance in Non-Original Container (Violation), and numerous traffic infractions. Isaacson was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Waterloo Court on October 23, 2024, at 5:00 p.m.
