Make your voice heard by sharing your Downtown parking experiences, giving input on Palo Alto Airport alternatives, and more with our summer surveys open now and application to participate in advisory groups. Be involved by sharing feedback on community topics of interest and help improve the City!

University Avenue Streetscape Stakeholder Working Group

The City is engaging in a visioning and design process for the University Avenue Streetscape project in the downtown district. A15-member stakeholder working group will be formed, representing the interests of businesses, community partners, and residents to provide feedback on the streetscape project as well as near-term improvements in the Downtown District. The Working Group needs two resident volunteers, one from the Downtown District and one from other Palo Alto neighborhoods. Submit an application by August 18.

Downtown Parking Experience Online Survey

Share input on your experiences parking in Downtown Palo Alto in a new online survey! The City offers thousands of Downtown parking spaces for visitors to work, shop, and dine in one of Palo Alto's largest business districts. Results will be used to evaluate additional parking permit types and explore customer enhancements such as validation, mobile payment, and potential parking time limit extensions. Survey closes on August 11.

Cal Ave. Car Free Street Design Concepts Online Survey

Participate in this survey to help inform the design of signage and streetscape concepts for Cal Ave! By City Council's direction, Cal Ave. will remain a permanent car-free street. Would you prefer a street that's more kid-friendly or upscale? How about a Cal Ave. outdoor movie screening or night market? Your response will help advance Cal Ave.'s future design concept planning underway. Survey closes on August 11.

Apply for the Downtown Housing Area Plan Community Advisory Group

Advise the Downtown Housing Plan project team as they plan for public infrastructure to accelerate housing production in Downtown! The area plan aims to further fair housing while ensuring that Downtown remains an attractive local destination. The Community Advisory Group will provide feedback to the project team and serve as an advisory body to the City through winter 2025. Application period closes on August 9.

Airport Long Range Planning Online Survey - Deadline Extended

Inform the Palo Alto Airport's plans to implement long-term improvements in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) guidelines. The Palo Alto Airport's Long Range Facilities and Sustainability Plan (LRFSP) will result in a blueprint to improve the Airport's sustainability and address local environmental concerns. Share your thoughts on several alternatives for the Airport's blueprint, designed according to both FAA regulations and community input. Survey closes on August 10.
