Why should I go?

With a presidential election looming, the award-winning Hub Theatre Company of Boston's production of 46 Plays for America's First Ladies couldn't be more timely. This must-see satirical farce promises to bring to life the personal stories of the women who have occupied the White House-from Martha Washington to Melania Trump. Directed by local award-winning actress, director, and choreographer Ilyse Robbins, this sequel to the hit comedy 44 Plays for 44 Presidents explores the contributions and challenges faced by the women of the White House, all nimbly played by five talented actresses.

Get ready to discover the untold personal stories, political struggles, and shifting roles of women of American history that your teachers likely never covered. This production shatters the conventions of traditional two-party politics.

Audience members will also receive a 20 percent discount on their food bill at Club Café. Additionally, the production is hosting a voter registration drive with voter registration forms available at all performances.
