Fatal Motorcycle Crash on Federal Way
July 15, 2024
On July 14, 2024, just before 2 am, Boise Police responded to a single-vehicle crash near S Federal Way and S Findley Ave. An adult male, riding a Vespa-style scooter, was rushed to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. The man passed away a short time later.
BPD's Crash Reconstruction Team responded to investigate the crash. A preliminary investigation showed that the motorcycle was traveling eastbound on Federal Way when the driver lost control and crashed. No other vehicles or people were involved.
The investigation is ongoing. The identity of the victim will be released by the Ada County Coroner's Office pending notification of next of kin.
