Here's a recap of incidents occurring last night:

  • Injury Traffic Collision - 1600 block of Harbor Avenue - On Nov. 8, 2024, at approximately 8:06 p.m., officers responded to a possible hit-and-run traffic collision with injuries in the 1600 block of Harbor Avenue. Upon arrival, officers located the occupants of both vehicles at the scene. The preliminary investigation indicates a white SUV turned left from 16th Street and was broadsided by a blue pick-up truck traveling southbound on Harbor Avenue. The female adult driver and male adult passenger in the white SUV were treated at the scene by members of the Long Beach Fire Department and then transported to a local hospital. They were treated for minor injuries to their upper and lower bodies and are in stable condition. The occupants of the blue truck, a female adult and a male adult both said they were not injured and declined medical treatment. Impairment does not appear to be a factor in the collision. The investigation is ongoing.

Great work officers! Last night, officers safely took a gun off the streets.

  • On Nov. 8, 2024, at approximately 4:29 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Pine Avenue and Pacific Coast Highway. During the investigation, officers recovered a firearm and arrested the suspect. The investigation is ongoing.
