The proposed project involves the development of an approximate 6,200-seat, 100,000-square-foot-amphitheater on 2.1 acres of Port property leased to
West Harbor. The proposed project includes the development of a nearby 2,600-stall parking lot in San Pedro, which would be available to theatergoers and other waterfront visitors.
The Draft SEIR has determined that implementation of the proposed project would result in significant, unavoidable impacts related to air quality, including greenhouse gases, noise and transportation.
The Draft SEIR has been prepared in accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) guidelines and is available for review on the Port of Los Angeles website at
portoflosangeles.org/ceqa.
A virtual public meeting will be held for the proposed project at 4 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 14. The meeting will take place on
Zoom. Simultaneous Spanish translation is available. No registration is required.
