The City of Buena Park is continuing to work on the Los Coyotes Drive Street Improvement Project. This project is a maintenance treatment that prolongs the life of the street by providing a new wearing surface for the road, protecting it from sun and water damage.
The contractor will be installing the ARAM (Asphalt Rubber Aggregate Membrane) on Thursday, October 17 (weather permitting). The street will be open to normal traffic within a few minutes after the street sweeping is complete.
On the week of October 22, the contractor will be installing a slurry seal over the ARAM product. The slurry seal will be the final paving portion of this project. Please note that, unlike ARAM, a slurry seal takes 4 to 6 hours before it can be opened to traffic. Due to this, the slurry seal work will be performed over two days. Please refer to the map below. The direction shown in purple is for work on October 22, and the portion shown in red is for work on October 23.
Dates are subject to change, and any changes to the schedule will be reflected on this website page until the end of construction.
