State Police Arrest North Carolina Man for Criminal Possession of...

On August 24, 2024, State Police arrested Curtis D. Young, age 34 from Charlotte, North Carolina for (2) counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd degree (class "D" felony).

Young was charged after Troopers observed Young acting in a suspicious manner after he exited his truck on the exit ramp from I-690 at State Fair Boulevard.

During an interview with Young, he admitted to having an AR 15 assault rifle and a 30-round magazine inside the cab of the truck.

Young was processed and transported to the Onondaga County Justice Center for CAP court arraignment.
