The Palestinian Government warns of repercussions regarding the occupation's siege on hospitals in Jenin and Tulkarm

Ramallah - The Palestinian Government warns of repercussions regarding the occupation's siege on hospitals in Jenin and Tulkarm
The Palestinian government warns of the repercussions of the occupation's siege on the hospitals of Jenin and Tulkarm governorates and its threats to storm them, where dozens of patients are currently being treated, stressing that any incursion into them is a direct threat to the lives of patients and medical staff.
During the ongoing aggression against the northern governorates of the West Bank, the occupying forces blocked all entry roads to Ibn Sina Hospital in Jenin with barricades, and besieged the Martyr Khalil Suleiman Hospital, and the headquarters of the Red Crescent and Friends of the Patients societies, raided and attacked a medical facility in the Al-Far'a refugee camp south of Tubas, and besieged Al-Israa Specialized Hospital, and the Shahid Thabet Thabet Governmental Hospital in Tulkarm.
The government also warned against the dangerous calls of the Israeli Foreign Minister to evacuate citizens from the West Bank, similar to what is happening in the Gaza Strip.
Palestinian Prime Minister Dr. Mohammad Mustafa instructed all competent authorities to strengthen their emergency interventions to confront the ongoing aggression on the northern governorates of the West Bank, reiterating his call on the international community to intervene immediately and effectively to stop the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, including Jerusalem.
The Government, through the Ministries of Health and Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, has also urged the international community, specifically the International Committee of the Red Cross, the World Health Organization, International Health Institutions and relevant United Nations bodies, to fulfill their responsibilities and protect the Palestinian people, at a time when the occupation imposed a blockade that hindered ambulance movements, endangering the lives of the sick and injured, which constitutes a flagrant violation of human rights, international humanitarian law and international human rights law.
