Meetings were held with Minister of Energy of Pakistan and Saipem in Italy

Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov met with Musadik Malik, Minister of Energy of Pakistan and Alessandro Puliti, Chief Executive Officer and General Manager of Saipem within the Global Energy Transition (GET) Congress in Milan, Italy.

At the meeting with Musadik Malik, the Minister of Energy of Pakistan, the sides expressed satisfaction with the high-level relations between the two countries. The activities of the Joint Working Group on energy in the development of cooperation on energy were discussed. The sides exchanged views on the implementation of the signed agreement on long-term LNG supply to Pakistan, as well as cooperation within COP29 and ensuring a global energy transition.

In the meeting with Alessandro Puliti, Chief Executive Officer and General Manager of Saipem, the development of existing cooperation with the company was discussed. Cooperation opportunities in the context of the activity of the company in the field of renewable energy, especially offshore wind energy, the development of wind energy in the Caspian Sea of Azerbaijan, the implementation of green energy corridors were considered. During the conversation, a presentation reflecting the company's activities and plans for the installation of offshore wind energy facilities was made.
