I-80 Eastbound Rest Area to Close for Improvements in Jefferson County

​Indiana, PA - The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that the I-80 Eastbound Rest Area at mile marker 87 will close beginning August 26, 2024, for improvements in Jefferson County.

The rest area will close on August 26 for approximately two weeks for Jefferson County Maintenance Crews to pave the parking lots, paint lines, complete drainage work and sidewalk repairs.

Motorists can check conditions on major roadways by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and access to more than 1,000 traffic cameras.
