City of Milton Update: Repairs Underway on Water Well Pump Causing Low Pressure

MILTON, FL - Progress is being made on the repair of the water well pump servicing the northern part of the City of Milton's service area. The new pump has arrived, and installation work will begin immediately.

Once the pump is installed, it will undergo a thorough disinfection process, followed by water quality testing to ensure the safety of the water supply. These tests are a critical step before the well can be brought back into service.

While we anticipate that the well could be back online within 1-2 weeks, this timeline may vary depending on the results of the water quality tests.

During this period, customers in the affected area may continue to experience lower-than-normal water pressure. The City's Water Department continues to monitor system pressure and water quality.
