Upcoming Bridge Replacement Projects in Butler County

Notice of Opportunity for Public Meeting

SIKESTON-The Missouri Department of Transportation plans to replace two bridges in Butler County.

The bridges to be replaced include:

• The Route MM over Harviell Ditch, located just west of County Road 355, northwest of Neelyville, Missouri.
• The Route 158 bridge over Craven Ditch, located between Route 142 and County Road 341 at Harviell, Missouri.

Work to replace the bridges could begin as early as January 2025. The roadway will be closed in the vicinity of the Route MM and Route 158 bridges for approximately 90 days as construction is underway. Completion is anticipated by November 2026.

Maps, plans, and other information prepared by MoDOT will be available for public inspection and copying at MoDOT's Sikeston District office, 2675 N. Main St. in Sikeston, Missouri. Any person affected by these projects may request that a public meeting be held in regard to the proposed improvements.
