There's still time to have your say on Hull at night, by taking part in a survey all about what the city is like after dark. Whether for work, leisure, study, the theatre, or a pub crawl, we want to hear people's personal experiences of how safe they feel. Questions cover how people feel on the streets, in venues and using transport links.

The survey closes on September 16 and post- August bank holiday, when many will have been out and about, is an ideal time to give your thoughts.

Anyone aged 18 or over can participate, and after the closing date, the information collected will be used to help understand how the city centre can be made safer and more enjoyable for everyone.

Cllr Linda Tock, whose Portfolio includes Community Safety, said: "We want Hull city centre to be a safe, vibrant place where residents and visitors feel safe and happy socialising, living and working. In order for us and our partners to achieve that, we need to know whether people feel safe, what experiences they have had and how and when they use the city centre.

"This survey will be open until September 16 and is quick and easy to complete online, including on a phone or ipad. We want to hear from a diverse range of people, using the city centre for a range of reasons.

"Going forward, the plan is to conduct this survey annually, so that we can measure the effectiveness of ongoing work to make our city safer".

Look out for posters, leaflets and business cards with a QR code linking directly to the survey all around the city including in libraries, venues which are part of the Low Ale Trail, on the council's social media channels and more.
