Miriam Magana is an Adult Services Librarian at the Central Library Express.

Why did you become a librarian?
I became a librarian because I wanted to interact with my community and help people by spreading knowledge.

What is your favorite book and movie?
My favorite book is Craigslist Confessional because it shares raw stories of people's lives, the good and the bad. My favorite movie is Signs because I love the depiction of the aliens.

What's your favorite part of being a librarian?
My favorite part of being a librarian is meeting people of all backgrounds.

What's your favorite sandwich?
My favorite sandwich is a ham sandwich with Hot Cheetos inside.
