UPDATE: Suspect Charged, Wanted in Fatal Shooting at 7700 Main Street

November 1, 2024- Charges have been filed against a suspect wanted in the fatal shooting of a woman found at 7700 Main Street about 12:15 p.m. on September 4.

The suspect, Cerdarian Patrick O'Neal Thompson, 31, is charged with murder in the 232nd State District Court. A September 2022 booking photo of Thompson is attached to this news release.

The victim has been identified as Keambra Bibbs, 22.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives W. Huff and J. Nguyen reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a person down call at the above address and were advised by responding Houston Fire Department paramedics that a female was found with gunshot wounds. The female, later identified as Ms. Bibbs, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Further investigation and evidence from the scene identified Thompson as a suspect in this case. The Harris County District Attorney's Office was contacted and Thompson was subsequently charged. Thompson remains at-large.
