Investigation into Fatal Crash at 4500 Pershing Street

November 1, 2024- Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 4500 Pershing Street about 11:25 p.m. on Thursday (October 31).

The identity of the deceased male, 36, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant M. Sudduth and Officer F. Flynn reported:

A black Dodge Durango was traveling westbound near the above address when the vehicle struck a Hobb trailer parked on the north side of the road. The passenger in the Dodge was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver fled the scene in an unknown direction.
