Downtown Officers Arrest Breaking and Entering Suspect

At about 8:40 AM, on Thursday, August 15, 2024, officers assigned to District A-1 (Downtown) arrested Lindsey Hurld, 41, of Quincy, on breaking and entering charges.

Officers responded to the area of 145 Pearl Street for a report of a breaking and entering. Officers were advised that commercial space located on the second floor had been broken into. Officers immediately observed the door frame and been broken into and there were bags and purse on the ground.

Officers made entry into the commercial space and located the suspect inside. Officers placed the suspect into handcuffs and conducted an inquiry of her identification which revealed that she had three active arrest warrants.

The suspect was placed under arrest and charged with Vandalize Property, Breaking and Entering for Misdemeanor, and Trespassing. Her warrants were for charges of Possession of Burglarious Instrument, Possession of Class B, and Shoplifting by Asportation. She is expected to be arraigned in Boston Municipal Court.
