RFQ seeks broker to sell eight properties in Arlington Heights

Published on July 16, 2024

The City of Fort Worth has issued the Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to identify a real estate brokerage firm to provide services to market and sell eight City-owned properties on Western Avenue and Carleton Avenue. This is a part of the Central Arlington Heights Property Acquisition and Drainage Improvements project.

Why it matters: The City is looking to collectively sell eight parcels of City-owned property in Central Arlington Heights for redevelopment above flood risk. The project also includes greenspace to be more effectively maintained and used by the community.

Go deeper: The City is requesting responses detailing the firm's experience with similar projects, with a strong preference given to firms with experience selling residential homes with redevelopment opportunities in the Dallas-Fort Worth market. Copies of the Broker RFQ have been placed on the Arlington Heights webpage, and a direct link to the document can be found here.

What's next: The deadline for response to the broker qualification questions is Aug. 9, 2024 at 5 p.m. Information can be shared with brokers interested in this opportunity. Information has already been shared with the Greater Fort Worth Association of Realtors, Society of Commercial Realtors, and brokers who had previously reached out with interest.
