One-Way Traffic Control Next Week

MARIPOSA COUNTY - The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct the following one-way traffic control next week on State Route 140 (SR-140) for maintenance and construction operations. Work is scheduled as follows:

STATE ROUTE 140

  • One-way traffic control from beginning of the passing lane in Catheys Valley to State Route 49 for pavement work beginning Sunday, July 14, through Monday, July 15, from 8:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. and Tuesday July 16, through Friday, July 19, 2024, from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
  • One-way traffic control from Whitlock Road to Briceburg for pavement work beginning Sunday, July 14, through Friday, July 19, 2024, from 9:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
  • One-way traffic control from Briceburg to South Fork Merced River for pavement work beginning Sunday, July 14, through Friday, July 19, 2024, from 9:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
  • One-way traffic control from South Fork Merced River to Yosemite National Park for pavement work beginning Sunday, July 14, through Friday, July 19, 2024, from 9:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
  • One-way traffic control from Tenth Street to Coakley Circle for curb/sidewalk work beginning Monday, July 1, through Tuesday, July 2, 2024, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • One-way traffic control from Smith Road to Grosjean Road for tree work beginning Monday, July 15, through Thursday, July 18, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
  • One-way traffic control from Bull Creek Road to El Portal Road for pavement work beginning Tuesday, July 16, through Wednesday, July 17, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Motorists should expect 5-10 minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. This work is scheduled to take place as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials and construction related issues.
