July 13: CenterPoint Energy Update

Information for the Island

• Nearly 80% of the construction on the West End has been completed, but still a few more days of restoration are needed.
• There will be a lot of local (fuse, transformer, partial service, etc.) issues to be resolved which will take longer.
• Nearly 500-line skill working the Island as a whole.
• Crews are working on all areas of the island from the far east end to the west and making great progress.
• We are also continuing to get additional resources to assist with restoration efforts as well, and others will be re-assigned as we continue.

CenterPoint Energy outages for Galveston Countyare currently at 12,800.

Today's restoration was 8,000 meters from our 5pm update on 7/12.

If a customer receives a text from Power Alert Service (PAS) that they have been restored and are not, please have them go to centerpointenergy.com/outage and report their address as out.
