Presidents Bowl Basketball Returns To Sanford Pentagon

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - The Sanford Pentagon will host the 2nd annual Presidents Bowl Basketball Classic December 28-31. The four-day event will feature a youth tournament, sub-varsity games, and high school varsity contests on Heritage Court.
Sioux Falls Jefferson, Sioux Falls Lincoln, Sioux Falls Roosevelt, and Sioux Falls Washington will all participate.
"We are thrilled to continue the Presidents Bowl Basketball Classic," said Jesse Smith, vice president of Sanford Sports. "Last year's inaugural event was a tremendous success and we're grateful to be able to provide a unique atmosphere for players, coaches, and fans at the Sanford Pentagon."
The youth tournament will take place December 28-29, with sub-varsity and varsity games on December 30-31. Tickets are available at the door for both the youth tournament and the high school portion of the event for a daily price of $10 for adults and $5 for kids. Two-day passes are available for each event at a cost of $16 for adults and $8 for kids.
Tickets can also be purchased online on the Presidents Bowl website. This is a cashless event.
"We're excited to continue our partnership with the Sanford Pentagon to showcase all the talented boys and girls basketball players in our Sioux Falls public schools," said Cassie Markman, Presidents Bowl committee chair. "The Presidents Bowl football games have become an integral part of this town in the fall and the basketball classic will continue to establish its own tradition in the winter."
