Where: I-44 at Exit 6 (Missouri Route 43/86) in Joplin

When: As of Monday, December 9

What: Both westbound I-44 lanes OPEN at Route 43/86 (Hearnes Boulevard/Main Street) at Exit 6 until work to finish rehabilitation of bridge resumes in Spring 2025

Traffic impacts:

• Both westbound I-44 lanes OPEN over Route 43/86 (Hearnes Boulevard/Main Street) at Exit 6
• Median crossovers CLOSED until work to rehabilitate the bridge resumes in Spring 2025
• East- and westbound Route 43/86-to-I-44 on-ramps remain CLOSED
• Both I-44 off-ramps at Exit 6 OPEN
• Speed limit remains at 60 mph
• Drivers are urged to pay attention to message boards, signs and other traffic control measures to safely travel through the work zone
