One on One: President Safa Zaki Shares Her Path to Bowdoin and How the Student Experience Is Central to Her Role
In a wide-ranging interview, President Safa Zaki sat down with Lisa DeSisto, publisher of the Portland Press Herald and CEO of its parent company, the Maine Trust for Local News, at the Roux Institute at Northeastern University in Portland.
President Zaki spoke of her path to Bowdoin, the rewards and challenges involved with stewarding the College, and how the student experience and their trajectories ground her work.
