Prepare for emergencies with the new Essential Documents Bag

Emergencies can occur at any time and often without warning. Having access to your vital documents is a crucial step during and after emergencies. These documents can help you to more quickly recover from emergency incidents.

The Essential Documents Bag provides a secure and organized way to keep copies of your important papers accessible in case you need to evacuate quickly. Included is a list of suggested items, but feel free to modify and add items that are important to you. Once you have gathered copies of your most important documents, keep the bag in a designated place so you can easily grab it and go when a disaster strikes.

Distribution information

Students: Students can pick up their Essential Documents Bag during Festival ISU by visiting the Emergency Management booth near Cook Hall on Tuesday, August 28.

Faculty and Staff: The bags will be distributed via campus mail services directly to faculty and staff.
