ASHTABULA COUNTY RECEIVES GRANT FROM DELTA DENTAL TO SUPPORT 2025 RAM CLINIC

Ashtabula County is proud to announce that it has received a grant in the amount of $5,000 from Delta Dental, which will be used to support the local Ashtabula Remote Area Medical (RAM) Clinic set to take place March 22-23, 2025. This grant will play a crucial role in ensuring that the clinic can provide free, high-quality medical, dental, and vision services to underserved populations in the region, thanks to the dedicated efforts of the local RAM host committee.

Kathryn Whittington, Ashtabula County Commissioner, expressed her gratitude for the support, stating, "This grant from Delta Dental is a testament to their commitment to improving the health and well-being of our community. The RAM Clinic has been a beacon of hope for those in need of medical services in our county, and with this funding, we can continue to make a significant impact on the lives of our residents."

The local RAM host committee plays a crucial role in organizing and executing the clinic, and Delta Dental's contribution directly supports their hard work. Their generosity will assist the Ashtabula RAM community host group in covering a large portion of the clinic expenses."

Casey Kozlowski, Ashtabula County Commissioner added, "The RAM Clinic is a vital resource for our community and support from Delta Dental and the local RAM host committee ensures we continue to provide services that address the healthcare needs of our residents. The 2025 RAM Clinic will bring together volunteers from across the medical, dental, and vision fields to offer free services to those in need. Ashtabula County is committed to assisting residents to obtain access to affordable healthcare services, and this grant from Delta Dental will help. Last year, the Ashtabula Ram Clinic served 477 patients with services valued at over $375,000, thanks in large part to the tireless efforts of the local committee.
