Welcome to ASRM's Advocacy in Action, where we give an overview of what our Government Affairs team has been working on, summarize relevant federal and state legislation, and highlight the advocacy and outreach efforts of our members. We are so thankful for the advocacy of our members; please get in touch with the Office of Public Affairs at [email protected] for more information on ways to get involved.

  • ASRM is proud to partner with Vot-ER, a bipartisan grassroots organization dedicated to driving civic engagement among healthcare professionals. Healthcare workers register to vote and show up to the polls at comparatively lower rates. Let's fix this! Make sure you're ready for election season and encourage patients and colleagues to do their civic duty by ordering a free Vot-ER badge.
  • It's not too late to join ASRM's Action Alert challenge! Enter to win by engaging with as many of the Action Alerts we send members via email and socials as possible. Contest ends October 1. For more information on the challenge and to see the current leaderboard, click here.
  • The Office of Public Affairs created a series of graphics detailing the importance of the HOPE with Fertility Services Act (HR 8821), which aims to establish a federal infertility insurance mandate. See the slides here.
  • ASRM's Government Affairs Manager Jessie Losch participated in an Instagram Live event with the CADE Foundation discussing the importance of grassroots advocacy! Watch the recording here.
  • National Patient Advocacy Day is August 19! Stay tuned for a resource roundup in your inbox from the Office of Public Affairs.
  • Registration is OPEN for ASRM's 2024 Scientific Congress! Sign up here.
