2024 Labor Day Closures for Seattle Parks and Recreation

Many Seattle Parks and Recreation facilities will be closed Monday, September 2 in observance of the Labor Day holiday.

These facilities and services are CLOSED:

• All recreation programs
• Community centers and teen life centers
• Environmental learning centers
• Indoor swimming pools
• Green Lake Small Craft Center
• Mount Baker Rowing and Sailing Center
• Amy Yee Tennis Center
• Seattle Japanese Garden and Volunteer Park Conservatory (closed regularly on Mondays)

These facilities are OPEN on regular schedules:

• Parks
• Colman and Mounger outdoor pools
• Sprayparks
• Wading Pools: Green Lake Park; Lincoln Park; Van Asselt Community Center; and Volunteer Park wading pools are scheduled to be open, weather permitting. Please call the Wading Pool hotline to confirm, 206-684-7796.
• Lifeguarded beaches. Labor day beach schedule is 11am-7pm at the following sites: Madison Beach, West Green Lake Beach, Magnuson Beach, Mt. Baker Beach.
• Boat ramps
• Golf courses and ranges
