Tillie Tops All in the International Junior Guernsey Show

MADISON, WIS. - The winning junior Four-Year-Old, Hollow View Tank Tillie, was named Grand Champion of the International Junior Guernsey Show after winning Senior Champion on Thursday, October 3. Tillie is owned by Kolby Stoltzfus, of East Earl, Pa. She received the Lillian & Keith King and Jim King Grand Champion Junior Show Award and the $650 Udder Comfort Grand Champion Award. The Reserve Grand Champion honors went to the Reserve Senior Champion, Hi Guern View Asias Africa, owned by Alaina Dinderman of Orangeville, Ill., for her two-year consecutive title.

The Intermediate Champion was Hickman Valleys S Blakely, owned by Brittany Taylor and Grace and Laylaa Schuler, of New Glarus, Wis. Blakely was the winning junior in the Junior Three-Year-Old Cow class. The Reserve Intermediate Champion is Mill Bridge Jcpenney Sassafras, owned by Sara Forman, of Meriden, N. H., the winning junior of the Senior Two-Year-Old Cow class.

Junior Champion of the International Junior Guernsey Show honors went to RHG Villa Breezy Venus-ET, leased by Alison Gartman and owned by Dominic Pritzl of Sheboygan, Wis. Venus was the winning Winter Yearling Heifer. Reserve Junior Champion honors went to Knapps Rc Torpedo Bonus-ETV, owned by Dylan and Cameron Ryan, and B., R., C. and L. Ferry of Fond du Lac, Wis.

Official judge, Lynn Harbaugh of Marion, Wis., and associate judge, Herby Lutz of Chester, S.C., evaluated the 82 junior entries.
