Yearly Maintenance and Roadway Painting Continues for State Routes in Huntingdon and Cambria County

​The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is informing motorists of potential delays on multiple routes in Huntingdon and Cambria counties for roadway painting. Beginning Monday, Aug. 12, yearly maintenance and the replacement of roadway paint will continue in Huntingdon and Cambria County. Removal and installation epoxy paint and thermoplastic pavement markings to include turning arrows, stop bars, and railroad crossing legends, will take place on Route 829 and Route 3035 in Huntingdon County and Route 22, Route 219, Route 271 and Route 422 in Cambria County.

The work will be completed under daylight flagging operations. Motorists are advised to use caution, avoid all distractions, and watch for construction personnel/flaggers and vehicles.

Beginning Monday, Aug. 19, the project will shift to Somerset County to include Route 160, Route 1002 and Route 1021. All locations are subject to change and are weather dependent.
