The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is implementing a bridge-width restriction on the Route 3008 (West Mud Pike) bridge over South Glade Run in Milford Township, Somerset County, on Aug. 9, until further notice.

The two lanes approaching the bridge will be reduced to a single lane crossing over the bridge with signage instructing motorist to yield to oncoming traffic.

The bridge, a mile outside New Centerville between Route 3017 (Chickentown Road) and Trinkey Road, carries approximately 550 vehicles per day. This restriction is being implemented in the interest of safety and will be effective once barricades and signs are placed. This restriction is not a result Tropical Storm Debby.
