08/05/2024 - Celebrate Lula Fest Sat. Sept. 28, 2024

Celebrate Lula Fest Saturday, Sept. 28, 2024

We hope to see you at the second annual Lula Fest to explore a vibrant celebration of Hispanic and Latinx heritage and cultures through live music, vendors, food trucks, custom cars and more. It's family friendly and free.

The festivities run from 3 to 9 p.m. at Isthmus Park on Saturday, Sept. 28, 2024. That day falls firmly in the middle of Hispanic Heritage Month, spanning Sept. 15 to Oct. 15 in 2024. Hispanic Heritage Month recognizes the contributions, histories and cultures of Hispanic and Latinx communities within our nation. It's been officially recognized and honored across the United States since 1988.

The event vision, as shared by Lula Fest event planner Miguel Pineda, "Ser audaces al celebrar el pasado cultural, para construir un futuro mejor / Be bold in celebrating the cultural past, in order to build a better future."

When you attend, consider riding fare-free Intercity Transit, their trip planner can help you easily find a route to downtown Olympia. Or, walk or roll in. Bike racks are available throughout Downtown or you can park at the secure, covered bike lockers at the Olympia Transit Center (BYO lock). Check out the Thurston County Bike Map to find your best route.

Questions? Visit the Lula Fest Events Facebook page. Ultimano Comms+ and the City of Olympia are partnering to make the opportunity available to our community. All are welcome!
