Hermon male arrested for CPW 3rd and Menacing 2nd

On December 8, 2024, State Police members arrested Robert A. McConnell, age 53, of Hermon, NY, for criminal possession of a weapon 3rd; previous conviction and menacing 2nd.

On December 8, 2024, at approximately 9:02 p.m. Troopers responded to County Route 47 in the town of Stockholm for a 911 hang-up call. An investigation determined McConnell and the victim were involved in a verbal argument when McConnell became more irate, grabbing a hammer and making threatening remarks to the victim.

McConnell was arrested and transported to SP Massena for processing. He was arraigned in the Town of Stockholm Court, where he was remanded to St. Lawrence County Jail without bail.
