After finishing his participation in the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit, the president was invited to this important meeting with world leaders in Brazil.
President Gabriel Boric participated today in the G20 Summit held in Brazil, where Chile was invited as a guest nation.
The Chilean president was received by President Luis Inácio Lula da Silva. He began his participation in the summit by taking part in the launch of the Global Alliance against Hunger and Poverty. He then participated in the session on Social Inclusion and the Fight against Hunger and Poverty and, in the afternoon, in the session on the Reform of Global Governance Institutions.

President Gabriel Boric has just finished participating at the APEC Summit. He comes to this summit of world leaders with the aim of providing economic certainty to people, promoting the energy transition to face the climate crisis and supporting international cooperation to fight hunger and poverty.
At the APEC Summit, the president held bilateral meetings with President Xi Jinping of the People's Republic of China and Justin Trudeau, the Prime Minister of Canada. At G20, he will continue his program of high-level meetings. President Boric has bilateral meetings planned with the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, and the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Keir Starmer.
Within the framework of the G20 Summit, Minister Secretary General of the Government Camila Vallejo is pushing important work on her agenda to combat the phenomenon of disinformation. This forms part of the discussion on the energy transition, climate change and international cooperation against hunger and poverty.
