Palmdale Hosts Neighborhood Watch Event for District 4 to Increase Neighborhood Safety

PALMDALE, CA - Looking to improve your neighborhood's safety while having some fun? Residents are invited to a family-friendly Neighborhood Watch event on Tuesday, October 8, from 5-7 p.m. at Sam Yellen Park, located at 5100 E. Ave. S.

Attendees will learn about the Neighborhood Watch program, meet Councilmember Eric Ohlsen and connect with City staff, local law enforcement and community partners. Enjoy a variety of activities and interactive sessions, snap a photo with the "Boris the Burglar" backdrop and gain practical safety tips. Plus, don't miss out on a selection of free filled churros while supplies last! Food will also be available for purchase.

"I am excited to connect with Palmdale residents at this Neighborhood Watch event," said Councilmember Eric Ohlsen. "This is a wonderful opportunity for the District 4 community to come together, have some fun and learn about how to protect your home and neighborhood. We recognize that safety is a top priority for everyone and invite you to share your thoughts on how we can better safeguard our community together."

The City of Palmdale is excited to continue its reimagined Neighborhood Watch events as part of a proactive approach to public safety. Although each event is held in a specific district, it is open to all Palmdale residents and free to attend.
