Armed Robbery in Koreatown NR24242dc

Koreatown: The Los Angeles Police Department's Olympic Division Robbery detectives are seeking the community's help in locating the suspect(s) responsible for an armed robbery that occurred in Koreatown.

On August 21, 2024, around 12:40 p.m., Olympic Area patrol officers responded to a radio call of an Armed Robbery that occurred in the parking garage of a shopping center located in the3500 block of 6th Street. The victim was inside her vehicle when a male suspect brandished a firearm towards her and demanded her purse. The victim then stepped out of her vehicle and ran from the suspect. The suspect subsequently caught up to the victim and took her purse. The suspect was seen entering an awaiting vehicle and fled the location with the victim's property.

The suspect is described a 30-year-old male Hispanic with black hair.
